Attorney Elizabeth K. Wharton recieved her J.D. Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, VA. after graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Ms. Wharton has been practicing law in the state of Michigan since 1998 and has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in the legal field. Victoria Chen obtained her Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from the University of Minnesota Law School by attending her last year of law school at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Ms. Chen’s firm has successfully secured more than 37,000 I-140 approvals and assisted over 100,000 foreign nationals in obtaining permanent residency, helping them achieve their American dreams.
Ms. Chen practices exclusively in U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and American Bar Association. She speaks English and Mandarin.

Medessa Cheney holds a Juris Doctorate from Stanford University Law School and a Master’s degree in English from Mills College in California. During law school, she concentrated on both international and public interest law and volunteered at a guardianship clinic, helping families to obtain legal rights to the children in their care. Sungwon (Sunny) Chang received her B.S. in International Relations and Political Science and B.A.
in Chinese Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to earning her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law,
she tutored students with autism, which taught her to become extra sensitive to her clients’ needs.
She interned in the chambers of Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Circuit Court, where she drafted bench memo and opinions in addition to conducting legal research.
Ms. Chang is licensed to practice law in Illinois and New York.
She speaks Korean and English, and is studying Chinese.

Alice Li holds a Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History and Biology from Amherst College in Massachusetts. During law school, she served as a staff member of the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law and gained extensive experience proofreading, source checking, and formatting articles written by leading legal scholars to meet publication standards. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity and focused on the research of New York state laws including but not limited to unfair competition and anti-corruption for corporations and LLCs. Li is a quick learner and is excited to be involved in the field of immigration law. She is eager to utilize her writing and editing skills to achieve successful outcomes for the clients.
